How It Works
Until recently timer-based irrigation systems were the answer for convenient gardening. However somewhat effective, these irrigation systems were unable to ascertain exactly how much watering was required, which often led to overwatering the garden and drowning the plants and flowers. To rectify this problem the innovative concept of garden automation controls came into existence.
After one of Civic’s project manager specialists have assessed your garden, it is divided into sectors. Each of these sectors are monitored by moisture detectors which calculate the soil’s moisture continuously and through the moisture detector probe, sends a signal to the garden automation controls. Now as you well know plants and flowers do not require the same amount of water, which is why this input is rather vital to ensure that plants in the different sectors are not getting too much or too little water. Once the garden automation controls have received the input, the central computer to which all these sectors are connected, will electronically control the output of water through the different sectors. This output is achievable through electronic controlled valves which will water the plants accordingly.
