The question that still eludes most...
Why is my site not found on Google? Many people and companies have asked us to publish the answer to this question again.
The answer is namely Google's sandbox trick. Even if a website conforms to Google's rules many website owners and web masters are experiencing frustration at Google's seeming lack of finding and ranking new websites.
What is the Google sandbox and how does it work? It is a filter that reduces the amount of spam found by the search engine. Unfortunately sites are sometimes optimised with irrelevant nonsense to improve their rankings even if it is not legit. As a result, Google had to find a way of preventing this bad practice from corrupting search results.
When a site gets found on Google, the site will most probably be indexed towards the bottom of the results list, and be placed in the sandbox for a period of time. During this time, the filter will check the site for spam again and again. When the site passes the tests, Google will push it out of the sandbox and into a better place on the rankings. This can cause a delay of between six months to a year.
